An AI coaching platform for triathletes, built to explain performance data instead of adding more of it. I designed and built it end to end: brand, product, content and code.
The problem
Endurance athletes have more data than ever and less idea what to do with it. A single ride produces power, heart rate, cadence, training load and a dozen derived scores. Most platforms show all of it and leave the interpretation to the athlete.
Coaches solve this, but they're expensive and hard to scale. Triforge set out to sit in between: an AI coach that reads your training and tells you what it means, in plain language.
As a triathlete myself, I was designing for a problem I had every week.
The principle: meaning, not math
One rule shaped every decision: no number appears without a plain-language read of what it means. A threshold estimate comes with what it says about your fitness. A training load spike comes with what to do this week.
This rule did more than guide copy. It set the hierarchy of every screen: interpretation first, supporting data second, raw numbers available but never leading.
